Actually get a product that installs rather than one that demands registration information and then - when the supplied codes are entered says it cannot find its own install file...
Just demonstrated how flaky the software is...

I found that the install deletes all the files before it goes to access them. To install the program, have all the files extracted then forget the install screen. go to user\(your name)\appdata\local\temp\RarSFX1\Program\win-install\setup.mis then click on the setup.mis. This starts the installation. Wait until it is all finished and the program installed before killing the install window. Some programmer put cleanup before install.
For those interested, there's actually a way to get around all that and get to just the setup files. The setup files are extracted into a temp directory that can be saved later along with your registration codes after you fill out the online form. It isn't too difficult, and only needs to be done once.
